How safe is my credit card information with you?
-Tunent Ltd does not see your payment information. All transactions are securely handled by PayPal.

What is a SIM card?
-A Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card is a memory chip supplied by a carrier that automatically activates a phone into which it is inserted. It holds holds personal identity information, cell phone number, phone book, text messages and other data.

Do you have SIM cards/Airtime for other countries?
-We carry SIM cards for some selected countries. Check our SIM cards/Airtime page for the ones we have.

How do I get a phone number?
-The SIM card has a phone number programmed in it. When you insert and activate a SIM card, the phone number will be displayed.

Is the SIM card all I need to use the cell phone?
-You also need to get airtime. The most common plan in most countries is a Pay-As-You-Go or a Prepaid plan. You buy the airtime, usually on calling cards, and replenish it as needed. Airtime is easily available; in some countries you can buy them from street vendors while waiting for the traffic light to turn green. We stock airtime for a few countries. Please check our SIM cards/Airtime page for our current stock. 

What is an unlocked phone?
-A phone is "locked" by a carrier, to tie that phone to its network. An "unlocked" phone is not tied to any carrier;  any activated and compatible SIM card from any carrier will work in the phone.

How can I find out if a particular phone will work in the country I am travelling to?
-It's a two-step process:

Step 1. Click here to see what GSM band is used in your destination country from the chart  - GSM 900, 1800 or 1900.

Step 2. Search our models to see which ones can operate on the band(s).

How reliable are Tunent Ltd's phones?
-Very reliable. They are mainly brand-new, brand-name cell phones. Any refurbished models we stock are re-tuned, call-tested and have new batteries installed before we ship them.
